The Maine Sentinel Event program in conjunction with the Rural Health, Primary Care, & Oral Health program are excited to present a conference highlighting second victims.

Registration is free and limited to the first 75 registrants, and closes on June 20th, at 5:00 pm

0800-0900: Registration with coffee/tea/muffin

 0900-0915: Welcome and Introductions

0915-1015: Retired Lt. Commander Josh Robishaw of Raise Your Banner. Discussion on creating a space to discuss mental health needs and resiliency in the Navy.
Erin Graydon-Baker discussion on second victims and staff support programs at Brigham and Women's Hospital and Maine Medical Center

1015-1030: Break

1030-1230: Dr. Scott Cowan and Chaplain John Olsen with Jefferson Health. How they implemented the RISE program to support staff.     

 1230-1330: Lunch and Networking

1330-1430: Jeff Brown and Sarah Taylor of Safer Healthcare LLC. Discussion on psychological safety with a focus on primary care practices.

1430- 1500: Wrap Up

 

This program has been approved for 4 contact hours of continuing education credit toward fulfillment of the requirements of ASHRM designations of fellow (FASHRM) and distinguished fellow (DFASHRM) and towards certified professional in healthcare risk management (CPHRM) renewal
